About the Author

My name is Jae Kim. I’m also known by the alias JAELOVE on Pojo.com, where I wrote strategy articles and card reviews for years. In addition to Pojo, my analysis has been featured in Yugioh.TCGPlayer.com and the now defunct Metagame.com. Over the past years, I’ve written numerous articles designed to help players get better and achieve tournament success in this wonderful game.
This website is designed to provide more than other Yu-Gi-Oh! strategy sites. Most Yu-Gi-Oh! article writers have never even seen the finals of a Shonen Jump Championship, let alone taken part in one. The ideas behind my strategy are formed from years of being at the top of competitive play in Yu-Gi-Oh! I was the second player in the game to reach day two in consecutive Shonen Jump Championship events, which led to my role with Metagame (the official Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG site endorsed by Upper Deck). I also helped form high-publicity events such as the Battle for North America and the first Comic Odyssey versus Team Savage team battle that showed players how the best make their plays. I personally have multiple top 8 and top 16 finishes at premier events, and my total earnings from the game reach into the tens of thousands.
