Okay I know very well that this is a really different Blackwing build and there obvious things that go against any other blackwing deck. But I also believe that this may be one of the only way for blackwings to stay strong. They have cards that have effects before they hit the field so skill drains are still effective. you can now use breeze as a synchro for something other than a blackwing. Vayu can be used to synch for 5stars. at anytime you can MST your own skill drain. And attack for game. use sangan to search for monsters from from deck. its effect is resolved from grave unaffected by skill drain. side book of moon not necessarily needed unless facing x saber. really want to add solidarity to give all my monsters a major boost if i will be trying to beat decks with out the use of high level monsters. if i know what deck im facing cloak and dagger can save me. by naming archfiend or fulhelmknight or hearald. even subsitoad.
Sorry for organization of explanation and analysis. i would really like to see what people have to say about this build. it seems like something that will utilize blackwings strength. keep the basic synergy and still take down many of the decks that have moved into their own tier of decks that blackwings can no longer play with.

I apologise for the double-post - it's a shame there isn't an edit function - but I just noticed that the decklist doesn't contain Trap Dustshoot. I would almost always run it alongside Mind Crush, as the possibility of CrushShoot on top of all the other cool stuff either card can do in this format generally outweighs the drawbacks of a dead Dustshoot. I think the Pojo featured matches emphasised this - it led to some massive game swings and gives you another chance to kill off the Sarco / Cat / Cold Wave play before it hits the board.

Personally I think I would rather have the Oppressions sided, so I could go for control in game 2 (especially as main/side space is tight) and play a more aggressive variant game 1 with triple GEC, Monk etc. A lot of decks really aren't prepared for the faster, more consistent aggression that Sabers can pack - and which they need to overcome Herald and Infernity. However, Oppressions improve the GB matchup, whilst also making slow play less of a liability against 'Fernity.

While Sabers don't seem to have a lot of space to change things up with so much thematic stuff, I think it's really interesting how many Saber builds are specialising. What I mean by this is that they are leaning towards one side of the other of the flexible Saber gameplan. Sabers can explode early and make the game impossible for the opponent to win, or make continuous positive exchanges in card presence through repeated Faultroll / Darksoul / Fulhelmknight / Airbellum / Hyunlei /GEC interactions. The former might be more susceptible to Anti-Meta strategies (as well as a bit unstable, depending on build) but the latter is much less able to fight back against huge boards - especially if not backed by Oppression.

What's everyone's thoughts on this?

I'd be interested in knowing what this Anti-Meta Deck consists of.
